![]() ![]() Mandolin Symposium Financial and Scholarship Guidelines The Scholarship program at the Mandolin Symposium is designed to assist Students with financial aid. We believe that this educational experience should be available to a wide range of students and we have asked for financial contributions that will help those that cannot afford all the costs of attending. To help support the Scholarship Fund, the Mandolin Symposium will fund 25% of the Mandolin Symposium Fee (that portion which are not housing costs) to help our Fund be dispersed to a wider base. Scholarships will be awarded on a partial to full basis. This commitment by the Mandolin Symposium is designed to assist more students with Financial Aid. We may limit the amount of students that we are able to help to ensure that the Scholarship Program will be passed on from year to year. The review committee does not have to award all available funds in the scholarship period. Monies not awarded during the scholarship year will be carried over into the next year's appropriations. Students are awarded scholarships based upon merit and need. The Scholarship Committee reviews all applications for Financial Assistance. Please note that if students are less than 18 yrs old they will need to have a Chaperone accompany them to the Mandolin Symposium if they are staying on campus. General Requirements
